We literally stumbled upon Pumpkin Seed Butter.
We wanted to find a densely nutritious, delicious, plant based food to power up our mornings of running….riding...meeting….parenting (insert the 10 other things that happen before 10am). Loaded with plant based macro nutrients, packed with protein, high in healthy fats, loaded with zinc, iron and magnesium. What’s not to love? But nothing we found was all that satisfying. Nutritious yes, tasty...not so much. We wanted a bit of fun from our fuel. So we started experimenting with available seed butters and adding interesting, delicious and nutritious ingredients. A few batches later we had a seed butter that was ridiculously good. Not too salty, not too sweet, not too creamy, not too hard. When friends and family started asking us to make them some, we suspected we had a product on our hands that might have broader appeal.
And so, Sow was born.
